Practising Gratitude

I am learning to be grateful for the things that I do have and not worry about what I don’t have.

I know I can do it when I can choose something that I am grateful for and write about it.

As we grow up, many of us have special toys, objects, or pets that we absolutely love. What is one of your favourite things that you own? It might be a teddy or doll that you do not play with anymore, but you still love, or it might be your favourite thing now.

Independent Task

Choose something that you are grateful for. You will need some paper and pens to complete this task.

Write or draw a story about your favourite thing.

Describe how it gives you comfort when you are with it. Try to show how it makes you feel. Perhaps you can thank it for all the times it has comforted you.
